Golf & Activity Information
Golf Information
The BLUE HAWK Cup Golf Event will be played in a Ryder Cup style format with 27 holes on Tuesday and 18 holes on Wednesday.
Pinehurst Course Information
The majestic pines that line Pinehurst’s courses whisper the legends of golfers like Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Payne Stewart and all the legends who have walked these fairways. Since 1898, Pinehurst has hosted more championships than any other club in the country and they look forward to being the site of the 2024 U.S. Open Championship. BLUE HAWK will be playing No. 5, No. 1 and No. 8. No. 8 is a favorite amongst everyone at Pinehurst. It’s the only course with no houses. It’s a mix of styles of No. 2 and No. 4, blended with it’s own style on 420 acres of rolling terrain and natural wetlands. It’s challenging, but still fun to play. Legendary No. 2 is available to play on your own.
Sporting Clays Information
Start off the activity with a brief safety orientation followed by instruction tailored for both the beginner and the seasoned shooter. Then, try your hand at the clays course that takes you through a beautiful woodland area with 13 different shooting fields. Each station has completely automated traps that will release targets at the push of a button. Your guests will shoot at targets simulating ducks, dove, teal, snipe, and rabbits.
Sporting Clays takes shooting one step farther than its cousin shooting sports, Skeet and Trap, by removing the predictability of the clay’s path and offering the shooter variety that changes at each station. This makes the sport challenging enough to be stimulating, but it is not so difficult that it becomes discouraging. A shooter does not need to have a brilliant score to get a terrific amount of satisfaction.
Euchre Tournament
Euchre is an excellent social card game, simple in concept but with a high degree of subtlety in the play. No experience is necessary to play in our tournament. We will give a brief introduction to the game and let the fun begin.
