Dear BLUE HAWK Community,

Lately, good news has been few and far between. Thankfully, 2020 is almost over – just a little more than three months to a new year and a new outlook.

In the meantime, we do have a couple of useful tips to help you close the year strong.

Tip #1: Recover Strong with Benchmark BLUE’s Financial Benchmarking Platform

Members can begin benchmarking your quarterly financial performance anonymously and securely against your BLUE HAWK Members. The Benchmark BLUE Recover Strong Program can help your company come out of the pandemic more durable than before this mess started.

  •  Participation Fees for Benchmark BLUE waived the rest of 2020 and throughout 2021
  • Receive a personalized “Data Tour” with CoMetrics’ CEO Paul Giudice to review your Benchmark BLUE’s results and discuss potential opportunities to improve your financial health
  • Access the 2020 Shared Insights among active Benchmark BLUE participants
    • Those who sit on the sidelines will not have access to shared insights

All BLUE HAWK Members can email CoMetrics at support@cometrics.com to get a temporary username and password to access the database through September 30, 2020. To continue to access the benchmarks, your company will need to upload your data by December 31, 2020.

Tip #2: Track Your Company’s Annual Incentives and Rebates on The Dashboard

In July 2020, BLUE HAWK officially launched The Dashboard. Our Members can now view their growth opportunities and identify favorable conversions from unapproved suppliers. About half the Members have already achieved “Compliant” status on The Dashboard, which means they started uploading transactional data. Compliant Members can track their annual incentives near real-time on The Dashboard, which will help these Members maximize their 2020 rebates through BLUE HAWK.

The Dashboard Status Update

The Dashboard is a game-changer for Members, Vendor Partners, and the cooperative.  This powerful and intuitive web-based analytics platform tracks and maximizes growth opportunities.

All Members and Vendor Partners have logins and will benefit from using The Dashboard with the quarterly rebate data provided by our Vendor Partners.  Although, Members and Vendor Partners who consistently upload transactional data will experience additional benefits.

If you are already uploading transaction data, thank you, and please establish a timetable for consistent weekly, bi-weekly or monthly transaction file uploads.

If you have not gotten started yet, please schedule a one-on-one appointment with Exactus Advisors by clicking the button below.  You will be asked to identify yourself as a Member or Vendor Partner and then select an appointment time that works for you.

Annual Incentive Tracking Now on The Dashboard

Great news! BLUE HAWK Members can now track your Annual Individual and Group Incentives on The Dashboard, our new web-based rebate analytics tool. In the past, Annual Individual Incentives have contributed to approximately two-thirds of BLUE HAWK’s overall incentive rebates.

Members, do not inadvertently fall short of significant incentive opportunities.

All Members need to log in to The Dashboard to review your YTD progress with our Vendor Partners. If you would like to learn more about how to navigate The Dashboard platform, please schedule an online meeting with BLUE HAWK’s technology partner Exactus Advisors by emailing them at bluehawk@exactusadvisors.com.

2020 Vendor Partner Scorecard Rankings

The 2020 Vendor Partner Scorecard rankings have been finalized and the results are in. Below are the Top 10 in Overall Satisfaction and five other categories.

Our Members rank participating Vendor Partners on a scale of 1 – 10 for various metrics. These rankings are aggregated and individual ranking data remains anonymous, ensuring that Members are free to provide honest feedback.

64 Vendor Partners choose to participate in the 2020 VP Scorecard and our Members provided feedback on 4,541 relationships with those Vendor Partners.

One of the questions on the survey asks each member to rate their Vendor Partner Relationship relative to other suppliers in the product category. 72% of the Vendor Partner relationships were rated as Superior or Above Average.

BLUE HAWK Gives Back 2020 – MERISTEM

For 2020, BLUE HAWK is supporting MERISTEM. Each year we partner with a charity that is important to the community where our conference is held. For our 15th anniversary, we have decided to support a charity important to someone in our community. Joe Geary, son of Russ Geary, Geary Pacific’s Vice President, is on the autism spectrum. Joe is fortunate enough to attend MERISTEM.

MERISTEM serves young adults on the autism spectrum by helping them develop practical life skills, increase social capacity, and transition to work and independence. They build the foundation for a productive life by helping to optimize the potential of each individual. A special emphasis is placed on preparing students for entry into the workforce or pursuing higher education.

Since we weren’t able to support MERISTEM with all the fun things we had planned in Orlando, we have made the registration fee for the BLUE HAWK Virtual Cup a donation to MERISTEM.  You can still support them directly by making donations on their website.  Please include “BLUE HAWK” in the “Notes” area.

Now is the time to set up your next set of Training Tracks. If you haven’t set up Training Tracks yet, it’s time to get started. Training Tracks give you the ability to focus your employees training on what you would like them to learn.
